Edgewood, Maryland is an unincorporated community located in the southern part of Harford County, MD.  It is bordered to the south by Aberdeen Proving Ground, zip code 21010, sometimes called Gunpowder, MD.  (Edgewood Area, formerly known as Edgewood Arsenal).  Edgewood is bordered to the east by the Bush River, to the north by Abingdon, MD 21009 and to the west by Joppa, MD 21085 (also known as Joppatown, Joppatowne or Magnolia).  Click here to view a map of Edgewood.

Major vehicle traffic routes include Interstate 95 (east-west),  U.S. Route 40 (east-west), MD Route 7 (east-west) and MD Route 24 (north to the county capital of Bel Air). Public bus transportation is available within Harford County from the Harford Transit bus service, and to downtown Baltimore via MTA commuter bus route 420.  The Maryland Area Regional Commuter (MARC) Train Service links the Edgewood MARC station south to Baltimore, MD; Washington, D.C.; and west to Martinsburg, West Virginia.
